Information You Provide
A name, phone number, or address entered into a search form is sent to the third-party provider that supplies those results. Our servers do not retain a copy of those searches. If you contact us, we receive the information in your message and use it to respond.
Information Collected Automatically
Our host maintains ordinary server information, including IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps. We review it in aggregate to maintain the reference and understand usage. Cookies or similar tools may be used for basic analytics and, where applicable, advertising measurement.
How Information Is Used
We use this limited information to operate the reference, correct problems, measure traffic, and improve pages. We do not sell lists of visitors or create individual visitor profiles.
External Links
Links lead to county and state record portals, archives, library collections, and third-party search tools. Those providers control the information submitted on their services under their own privacy notices. That includes sponsored-result providers.
Who Can Receive Information
Hosting and support providers process server logs for us. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic information described above. We disclose information only when valid legal process requires disclosure.
Safeguards
The reference uses an encrypted connection and retains logs only for the purposes described above. Because there are no visitor accounts, the reference does not hold a password or account profile for you.
Visitors Under 18
This reference is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. Contact us if you believe a minor sent information, and we will remove it.
Your Privacy Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information a website retains. New Jersey's Data Privacy Act, N.J.S.A. 56:8-166.4 et seq. (P.L. 2023, c.266), provides consumer rights and controller obligations subject to its terms and exceptions. Because this reference retains very little, a request ordinarily means checking the contact mailbox and relevant server logs, then removing what is found. Use the Contact page. Public records held by Englewood, Bergen County, or New Jersey offices are outside our control and must be addressed to their custodian.
Policy Updates
We will post changes to this policy here. Continued use after an update indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
